This website has no customer accounts and sets no advertising cookies. Three things are recorded:
Your enquiry. The name, company, contact details and brief you type into the enquiry form, so we can answer it.
Your visit. For every page view we store your IP address, the page and the page that referred you, your browser and operating system, screen and window size, language and time zone, and an approximate city derived from your IP address. A random identifier is kept in your browser’s local storage so repeat visits from the same device can be counted. This is used to understand which products and markets attract interest, and to detect abuse of the site.
Your precise location, only if you allow it. Your browser may ask whether to share your exact location. It is your choice: if you refuse, or ignore the prompt, no coordinates are ever stored and nothing else changes. If you allow it, we store the coordinates and their accuracy, which helps us understand which regions our buyers write from. You can withdraw it at any time in your browser’s site settings.
Assistant conversations. If you use the chat assistant, the name and mobile number you give before starting, and the messages exchanged, are stored so a person can follow up. Messages are sent to Google’s Gemini service to generate a reply.
To answer your enquiry, prepare quotes and samples, fulfil any order that follows, keep the site secure, and understand how the site is used. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for marketing you have not asked for.
Our team in Canada and the sourcing offices involved in your order. Production partners receive only the product specifications they need, never your contact details unless you ask us to introduce you. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare and Google (for the assistant) process data on our behalf.
Enquiry correspondence is kept while it is useful to the business relationship and then deleted. Visit records and assistant conversations are kept for up to 24 months. Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: write to [email protected] and we will respond.
